Yes, I’m sure that must be it…
CBS News and Sports President Sean McManus says that gender bias may play a role in the disappointing ratings Katie Couric has been getting on “CBS Evening News.”
“I think it is a fact there are probably people, both men and women, who are perhaps uncomfortable having a woman anchor the news,” McManus told the media industry publication Broadcasting & Cable.

No! It was all her Executive Producer’s fault!
(That’s why they just fired him.)

You want to know why K. Couric is not gonna make CBS no. 1? She’s too far left. Despite the major media’s support of the leftist group, the fact that CBS rating lags behind tells the country that, in general, people don’t aprreciate the total disrespect of the office of the president and that there’s more respect shown to our enemies than to our soldiers. The group of Rosie O’ Donnel, Sean Penn and other celebrities who maliciously rant and rave unceasingly are of the same category with this pixie Katie Couric. She is so bias in her reporting of the news, you could tell– she’d give that “what I’d tell you” sort of grimace when the news is about Iraq and the Republican party. No, it’s not the gender bias; I would love to see Diane Sawyer in her place– it’s her ugly attitude!
I think she was great on the morning show! She was bubbly and fun. Her new role demands a more serious demeanor which does not seem normal for Katie. I no longer watch her because I miss the bubbly personality she added to the am show.
Katie, I think your doing a great job and I have watched you
for years. Don’t let the good old boys wear you down
hang in there.

I think she flirts to much with the camera and lowers her head too much. She also makes her interviews seem more like a chit chat than an interview…not professional enough for me!
